Model United Nations

At this, the twenty-seventh GCLMUN conference, on 12th and 13th December, delegates will consider how the international community can tackle discrimination and protect human rights, using the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights as a founding standard. Our programme will give young people the opportunity to take on the roles of ambassadors, debate this pressing issue and take action as the United Nations. Committees will explore how the world can work together to eliminate slavery  and protect the rights of women, children, refugees, LGBT+ people and indigenous peoples. The advanced crisis committees will address the rights of the Rohingya people.

 

 

Sixth Form Open Evening

Our Sixth Form Open Evening will take place on Thursday 8th November from 4pm to 6pm.

Year 6 Open Days

There will be Year 6 Open Mornings on Monday 25th, Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th September 2017 starting at 9.30am at Mulberry School for Girls. 

There will be an Open Evening taking place on Thursday the 28th September 2017, starting at 4.30pm. These events are aimed at parents of students who will start Year 7 in September 2018 (children born between 1st September 2006 - 31st August 2007). The open morning/evening will give parents and students a chance to visit the school, meet the Headteacher, staff and students and also find out what the school has to offer. We look forward to meeting parents and Year 6 students.

Theatre centre to perform ''Twist'' at Mulberry and Bigland Green Centre

 On Tuesday 19th September, the award-winning Theatre Centre will return to the Mulberry and Bigland Green Centre Theatre to perform Twist by Chino Odimba. This contemporary retelling of Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist follows the journey of one refugee, buffeted between borders and bad company. We're delighted to welcome Theatre Centre back to Mulberry, and that our students will have a chance to experience this exciting new production.

Year 13 Study Leave

On 25th May students in Year 13 will begin their study leave.  Exams will begin in the week beginning 4th June.  Good luck Year 13s!
