Home Testing Information

About 1 in 3 people with coronavirus do not have symptoms but can still pass it on to others. Regular testing of people without symptoms is important to help stop the virus spreading in our community.

Students have taken 3 tests in school since their return on 8th March 2021. They are now being provided with Home Self-Test Kits.

It is recommended for students to take 2 tests per week, 3 to 5 days apart. Self-testing is not compulsory and your daughter will still be able to attend school if you decide not to test her at home.

If your daughter tests positive with a Lateral Flow Test taken at home, the NHS recommends you confirm the result with a PCR test. Your daughter must self isolate during this time. If the PCR test comes back negative she is free to resume normal activities. Please also check our whole school letters here.

The tests provided by school are for students only. If you want additional home self-test kits, they are available from NHS Test Centres
