Museum of London Docklands

In November, a group of parents visited the London Docklands Museum to celebrate Black History Month. The Museum had a whole floor dedicated to Black history, so there was much to see. Parents shared their reflections about what life was like for their ancestors many generations ago, and swapped and shared stories about their own cultures, identities and history.

Parents and carers on the trip said that they would highly recommend a visit to the museum and the chance to learn more about the migration that has led to the incredibly rich and diverse culture in both Tower Hamlets and London more widely today.
