The Mulberry Schools Trust is proud to be the UK lead for the UNAUSA‘s worldwide network and our Global Classrooms London Model United Nations runs the largest programme of its kind for state-funded schools in the UK. At our professional conferences, students play the role of ambassadors in simulations of UN committees, developing co-operation, leadership, public speaking skills and confident global citizenship.

Every year Mulberry hosts two Model UN conferences during which over 250 students come from all around to spend two days simulating a meeting of the United Nations. Each student is assigned a country to represent, and a topic to research, and comes prepared to debate, discuss, negotiate – and of course make friends and have fun. Model UN teaches you about key global issues, while helping you to strengthen your researching, writing and speaking skills. Over time, Model UNers can earn extra recognition and responsibilities, serving as committee chair people, members of the press team, or even organising the conferences as a member of the Secretariat. Every year we take a group of Year 10 Model UNers to New York and Sixth Form MUNers to Delhi, India.
