Mulberry School for Girls is a vibrant learning community: staff and pupils have a shared responsibility to ensure that all pupils develop a range of skills to be active, independent and life long learners.
Microsoft Teams powers our virtual learning platform. It is the learning platform that all students and staff use to facilitate high quality online teaching and independent learning.
All learning, whether delivered in the classroom in school or via our online classroom, is planned to provide appropriate levels of challenge linked with each child’s prior attainment and learning. Lessons are designed to provide variety and be of appropriate pace to maximise the opportunities for each girl to develop her confidence, creativity, leadership and love of learning in order to attain the necessary qualifications to broaden her life chances.
Each class that children attend in school has a virtual classroom online. It has a post wall where students are encouraged to communicate with their teacher and it has a files section where curriculum resources are shared. She will be set assignments on Mulberry Learn and asked to upload her work using this platform. Students can access a huge array of enrichment activities through Mulberry Learn and also have a ‘team’ for their tutor group and their year group, where they can access pastoral support.
